<jats:p> This ethnographic study examines how technology affects gatekeeping and allows the audience more influence at The St. Louis Beacon, an online news nonprofi t. The study finds that a lack of resources results in less desire for innovation; however, technology does give the audience more power to shape content. </jats:p> |
