A review of the scientific literature on the conceptual approaches to the interpretation of mass and media communication is made, covering a wide range of issues, including the new strategies of self-expression and co-operation in terms of personalized communication, and the characteristics, acceptability and limitations of the new digital media in the screendigital culture.
