<jats:p>Summary: The present article examines the various modes of mutual involvement used by participants in videophonic interaction. It describes the different strategies implemented by users to adapt to the technical device and create an 'adequate' interactional frame. By means of a detailed analysis of videophonic calls the author highlights the intrinsic, locally produced organization of this mode of communication. </jats:p> |
