Inhaltsangabe

The forthcoming issue of our Journal The Thinker on The Stage has been extensively prepared by the editorial board and contributors together. For over a year, we have been working jointly on this collection of profound idiosyncratic essays, in which our ‘commentators’ and ‘readers’ are already called upon to play an active role. This explicit instruction is surely coextensive with all forms of reading in the strong sense, especially the theoretical one. A very transformative involvement of the competent reader is required in order to frame all texts together: but the framed texts particularly tend to function, even in a minimalist form, as an editorial embellishment of the ‘image of the texts’, if not a self-commentary of the theoretical framing and reframing.
