The mentioned Synod provoced many questions and expectations particulary among Journalists. These questions circulated around problems which are conected with the family but to some degree marginal. All these questions will be answered next year during ordinary Synod. My article describes the main problems of relations between media and family, which were of one of the main interest of the Synod. The television programs offer immens quantity of pictures and information, ways of behaviour, attitudes, views and opinions. It hapens that television presents views, which are in oposition to the values accepted by the Church and family. So, it is needed to dedicate big attention to the problems of influence of media, particulary television on the family.
