<p>AUSTRALIAN FACILITIES for training technical writers and scientific journalists are few in number and limited in scope. Developments in the past two years, however, show a new awareness of the need to train personnel to service research and industrial growth. The trend is away from an apprentice system and toward formal programs at institutes of technology and technical colleges but not at universities.</p> |
