<p>Reader analysis, a process that texts and articles describe as essential in writing technical documents, can be confusing because of the many approaches one finds. When the writer views reader analysis methods in general categories, the perplexing question of method becomes clearer. Focusing on demographic, organization, and psychological approaches, this article groups the many types of reader analysis techniques into manageable categories.</p>
