<p>"We Are no longer led by men. We are led around by the polls," says this vigorous criticism of opinion polls by a man whose career has been spectacular with success in studying and making public opinion. Edward L. Bernays goes on to recommend two steps to check what he considers a possible menace to the democratic process.
