<jats:p>Focused on the Stuart Hall's border thinking, this article problematizes the importance of culture studies about the communication forms as socio-cultural practices at the Amazon region. It analyzes seven Master's dissertation that reassert the present situation of the Jamaican intellectual in Brazilian North region, showing thus: a) dynamic and multifaceted processes of the construction of identities; b) communication forms and technologies that diversify and disclose. The thought established in these analyzed works based the contribution of Hall's thought and socio-cultural practices at the other end of Brazil.</jats:p> |
