Polish street art originated from the murals created by rebels and revolutionaries. Nowadays, graffiti is mostly used to express the dissatisfaction with the illusion of system, culture and opinion. Street art gangs, very often associated with hip-hop subculture like in the USA, function nowadays as new tribes- organizations, where young people can find their sense of security. Despite that, building such a group in Poland demands more effort than in the Western culture.
