The main problem of the presentation is: Do the Polish public media play the role of stabilizing the state security? The attempt to answer this question will describe the actual situation of the public media in view of the media market in Poland. The author will cover the issue of finances of the Polish public media in relation to other chosen countries as an important element enabling the media to fulfill their mission of public broadcaster. In this context there will be an overview of the activity and competence of KRRiT as the state organ responsible for the functioning of the media in Poland. |
