"Młody Technik" was published in the years 1932-1939 as an educational magazine devoted to practical classes of school youth in the field of handicrafts and DIY. The letter, issued in Poznań, can be used as an example of education by printed media. It carried out its educational mission mainly in the field of technical education by encouraging children and youth to DIY while developing at the same time their psychomotor competence. This study attempts to prove that “Młody Technik” was a magazine of educational character, aimed to educate children and youth through encouraging them to DIY.
