<p>Studies of employment discrimination have seldom focused on marketing applicants and usually have been historical or attitudinal. This author investigated employer reactions to marketing applicants on the basis of race and religion. The results indicate that while religion no longer appears to be an issue for employment in any marketing position, race continues to be a discriminatory factor in selling positions.</p>
